A Brief About Me

If you hadn't figured out by now, my name is Dan, and my surname is Streeter and I'm currently 24. This is my website, and its all about ME!

Family Life:

I'm married to a gorgeous girl called Holly who I met in year 7 at school. (Awww, childhood sweathearts!), we grew up together, dating on more than one occasion until (she) decided that we should stop messing around and actually get together for readl. We got engaged and then got married! and she is my best friend and 'soulmate'. I love her to eeny weeny little bits!

We have two sons, Jonah who is 2 and a bit, and Samuel who is only 5 days old (when I updated this). They are my world and the best thing ever!, Jonah is completly mad! He spends most of his time running Holly round the bend, jumping and playing with his Thomas the tank engine toys. He loves Mr Tumble, Balloons, chocolate, Thomas the tank engine, Peppa Pig, tickle time with daddy and family cuddles with mummy and daddy.

Work Life:

For work, I like to do as little as possible; no I'm joking. I have an awesome job at the moment working for the Nineplus Group. I manage their global website presence (their main brand website and 4 e-commerce websites - USA, Australia, UK & Europe and UK Clearance), do print and web advert design, computer product design (not actually designing products, but computerising designs ready for factory production) and also a bit of admin when needed.

Until October 2010 I also worked as a freelance website designer for my own company 'Ds Websites' with many clients ranging from the largest bus company in the south west; Western Greyhound, to local guest houses and hotels.
I have now stopped taking on projects and have moved it more towards a ministry than a commercial excersise.

Christian Life:

I am proud to be what some would call a 'full on Christian' or 'Jesus Freak'. Without going into too much detail (as you can read about my faith in the faith section of my website) I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and play an active part in my church Newquay Christian Centre in Newquay.
I grew up in NCC from an early age and have last year; with my wife and boy, become full partners of the church. I've just started serving in a sub-part of what we call the 'Front Line' team on the childrens check in desks. We have a multi campus church and the kids go to a different venue for their studies. I help people check their kids into the church system so they are safe, counted and accounted for!
Holly and I are just about to start a 5 month internship with our cell group leaders to take on the group ourselves - cell group is just a weekly meeting / hang out / chill out / social where us and about 10 others meet and chat about our week, read the Bible, pray, discuss, debate and just have a laugh.

I'm also currently half way through my first year doing an open learning degree in Applied Theology.
Ok, so whats that? Wikipedia defines 'Theology' as: Theology is the study of a god or, more generally, the study of religious faith, practice, and experience, or of spirituality.

To put it simply, I hope to have a degree in the Bible and my faith. What I'm going to do with this, I've no idea! Thats up to God. But right now, I feel he is leading me onto this for a reason, I shall obey and trust that he knows best, and is at work behind the scenes. (A little about my faith in Him right there!)
